International Environment Forum — Baha'i Inspired

Well, I haven't rooted around in their materials yet, but this looks like a good undertaking. I am glad to see it. You can see it too by following the link below. Phrases like "civilization building" and "ever-advancing civilization," common these days in Baha'i discourse, make me a wee bit nervous without more specifics. Civilization, so far, has a very mixed record and may yet destroy us. So I say "hurray!" to all good efforts toward sustainability.

In all matters moderation is desirable. ... Consider the civilization of the West, how it hath agitated and alarmed the peoples of the world. … The purging of such deeply-rooted and overwhelming corruptions … (Tablets of Baha’u'llah, p. 69)

versus:

All men have been created to carry forward an ever-advancing civilization. (Gleanings from the Writings of Baha’u'llah, p. 214)

Confused? Don't be, it's all explained here:

In brief, two different words for different concepts are being translated as "civilization" : the one that is to be 'ever-advancing' is the one that involves taking care of the world, the one that we has to be limited to moderation is the one that we now know has to be limited, for the sake of the planet.
